I was excited and nervous to have my first experience with Microneedling.

Microneedling is also known as "Collagen Induction Therapy". Microneedling utilizes fine, sterile needles to create micro-injuries in the skin. This stimulates the bodies natural healing process, increasing collagen in the skin. Microneedling reduces fine lines and wrinkles, minimizes pores and acnes scars, while improving skins texture and tone.

Debbie, my Aesthetician, greeted me warmly and created such a relaxing atmosphere, I had no worries. She expertly applied a numbing cream so I would not feel the needles. During the session, we had a lovely conversation and I absolutely was relaxed the whole time. She also kindly gave me a hand treatment with hand cream and warm mitts so I could just relax and feel pampered. Our conversation was so relaxing, the 45 minutes flew by!

After the procedure, my skin appeared flawless! The next day, it appeared as though I had a slight sunburn, and I treated my skin accordingly, with a gentle moisturizer.

I must say, I am so pleased with the results of this microneedling, I will be having this again! I will be consulting with Debbie as to the appropriate amount of time between sessions. I would give Lotus Health and Aesthetics 5 stars for providing the service exactly as described with a wonderful Aesthetician!
